Irmi and Michael Peters immigrated from Germany to Canada, along with their 3 children, in 1988 to follow a dream.  With Michael's background in construction, it was only natural that he followed his entrepreneurial spirit and founded Chedabucto Log Home Construction Ltd.....a small, family based home construction company.

Originally the company focused on custom Log Home construction, specializing in a patented building technique which allowed the log home to move and breathe with the seasons.  Over the years however, as the market and demand changed, we evovled into a company that specializes in helping individuals and families realize their dreams of building their own custom home, using various construction methods....whether it be a Tiny Home made of logs, or a multi-level, off-grid estate built using current ICF building methods, we have the experience and know-how to make your building dreams a reality.
